I drive all the way up here from Grand Rapids (a 3.5 hour drive) because of how absolutely wonderful the owner is and because of how great the deals are.
The rocks here are so fairly priced that it feels like a complete bargain compared to other shops and even some rock shows.
Very knowledgeable a great place to learn about Petoskey stones and other rocks.
I'd suggest coming here to anyone who has an interest in expanding their rock collection without depleting their bank account, and for anyone who just wants to meet one of the most delightful shop owners I've ever had the honor of getting to know.
The owner is so friendly and helpful. She knows about every single rock she sells in her store and can identify it on sight for you.
I cannot say enough good things about this store.
Uninterested owners. No greeting when I walked in, but at least their dog had some dignity to say hi. If you're that bored, just sell your shop and retire. I do not recommend. Go anywhere else.
I really like this place. We purchased some Petoskey Stones for our kids and gentleman that was working there took the time to show us the tools in the back and describe the process of taking a stone from start to finish. I would recommend this store to anyone.
Very nice owners, they took the time to show us how they polish the stones. It is a lot of work and they have good prices.
