I had acrylics put on for the first time in a while due to I recently moved to the area.The guy there was so rough he made my cuticles bleed. I wanted a French manicure and have had many before and knew what to expect but he skipped the last couple steps and pushed me to the dryer leaving the nail tips looking uneven and even translucent. When I started to complain I just got a headshake from him as if saying this is the way we do it. I had already paid at this point or else I would have challenged the charge. I left and went to Sally Beauty Supply next door to buy polish to try to make it look better. I also had a lot of stuff left under my nails that I had to dig out. I'll never go back. I am sure I can do better myself at home.
Acrylics always come out crooked, slanted, wrong shape, and edges are NEVER filled. When I have made a point to specifically point out the poor work and ask to have it fixed they just ignore the request. Everything from start to finish is terrible quality. Unfortunately, it’s a small town and the other similar places are similar in business practices. I will attach photos.

I don’t ever recommend coming here. The lady that did my nails was very rough. She tugged at my hand and didn’t listen to me when I asked her to stop filing my nails because it was hurting. People started to line up waiting for services and I was about done with my manicure. She noticed she was getting busier I guess and half assed my hand massage with the lotion. I’m not from petoskey, so I’m writing this to make sure others that aren’t from here DO NOT GO HERE.
Terrible service, terrible work! The lady who did my nails rushed through and didn’t do half of the things I paid for.. then she made me bleed! I got gel/schellac polish which typically last between 2-3 weeks and mine was chipping/peeling within 72 hours. Very rude staff and terrible quality work and products.
I was initially happy with my nail polish when I got a shellac manicure, the techs were very friendly and enjoyable to be around. However the next morning I woke up and my nails were a completely different color. Before going to a wedding I had to get them fixed or they would not match my dress which was the intended purpose. I called them and went back in for them to fix my nail polish. I requested some type of compensation or reimbursement for my troubles due to having to drive 30 minutes each way from where we were staying to get my nails fixed and then spent an hour on them fixing them and missing quality time with family, however they said they would not do any type of reimbursement for my time. They basically laughed at me when I requested a refund of some sort, and when I asked to speak to the manager they only said, "he will just tell you the same thing" and would not go get him/her. I think this is a very poor practice considering that people use them for things such as weddings. I would not recommend them for this reason alone as they are not treating their customers as they would wish to be treated
