The food here is the absolute best! The Reuben is to die for!! The best place in northern Michigan to get an awesome coffee, seriously get one, you'll never be the same. Great relaxed friendly atmosphere. Servers are top notch! There is literally nothing bad on the menu, I've been eating there for 20 years!!
My husband and I went and each had burgers, definitely the best "Patty melt" ever. If you are just looking for a beer (or cocktail) with a pub style meal, Mitchell's is the place. I saw another customer with the onion soup, it looked delicious. Next time, I plan to have the walleye.
There is a reason they have been around as long as they have. The atmosphere is that of a charming hunting retreat, and the food is to die for! I personally recommend the patty melt and an order of the cheese curds. They always have a great beer selection and their mixed drinks are strong! If you want the true taste of Petoskey, this is the spot!
