Just drove 800 miles for their Old Fashioned donuts and Long Johns. (well also had a wedding too) but I used to stop there once a week after shift at NMH..great donuts
If you want good doughnuts, go wherever. If you want the best in the North, go to Johan's. After 30 years, the government made them take George away. George was their talking bird in a large cage at the main / original store in Petoskey.
Always delicious doughnuts and pastries. Been enjoying them for over 40 years and never disappointed.
Stopped in this beautiful, Hot, Sunday am, after leaving a cafe in Harbor Springs where a breakfast with eggs, meat, hash browns and toast was a reasonable $10. 1 Danish and 2 small frosted Pumpkin cookies at your bakery was $7.50!!!! OUCH. 3 times the price it should have been and if there weren't others in the bakery, I would have refused to pay that ridiculous amount. NEVER AGAIN.
Just moved to a better location.... On Main Street in Harbor Springs. The grandkids love Johan's.
