I love my coworkers and directors but the place is run very poorly by the owners. I found that to be unprofessional and rude and to me they seem like they don't care about the kids or staff just the money. I wouldnt recommend working here at all.
I have never regretted our decision for our daughter to come here. the facilities are terrific and staff amazing! The teachers meet my toddler at the door with a big smile and hug each and every day. We are always informed about how the day went and if there are any concerns.
We had our infant enrolled to start and at the time of our tour, it seemed great. The facility seemed to be fairly clean, the infant room was old but seemed organized, and the girls in charge were very happy. Needless to say, it was all an act and they regretted to mention that they were under investigation from the state of Michigan. It was a 40 page incident report full of several violations of childcare. This report can be found on the LARA website. We called for our deposit back and they refused. If they aren't honest with what is going on in their facility, how do you know they will be honest about what happens to my child during daycare?
Miss Jonni is amazing! I wish every teacher shared her innovative ideas and love of children! She should be the director of this center. With the exception of her, the teachers and directors definitely need mandatory training on conflict resolution, redirecting, concious discipline and engaging with children. For the sake of the children that are still attending, I hope that things change and they hire better teachers and are able to give them the opportunity to take online classes.
