Unfortunately we had a very bed experience with this salon. It was the day before my daughters wedding so this was our first experience. The staff was extremely rude to me and my daughter. I was given three different quotes on the cost for the pedicures and when we were there we were given yet another cost higher than what I was quoted on the phone. I was charged an extra 10 to have the polish removed which I was not told when I called. My daughter got an infection in her toe and the doctor said it was likely due to unclean tools. I have never been treated so rudely by anyone in the service industry. I was shocked. I ended up paying a very high bill that was double what I normally pay for the same but better services. Would not recommend them to anyone especially if you are trying to plan a special event. And yes. We were trying to make the best of an absolutely horrible experience and did not let it ruin our day. But the service was horrible none the less. I see by other reviews our experience was not unique
This salon is great! We had an awesome time when we had a girls day there. The manicures and pedicures were spot on and the staff was great to us. We will definitely be stopping here again the next time we want a girls day.
This was absolutely the worst pedicure I have ever had. The staff was very rude and the service was extremely slow. The staff spent most of the time talking about other customers negatively thinking we could not hear them. We were overcharged for the poor services we received. We were charged $10 more than the prices posted. Not only were the prices insanely high, but the service was terrible. Both my sisters and I got an infection from the unsterile tools. I would never recommend this place to anyone and to be frank I am surprised that it is still in business.
To address the concern on the infection from the tools, I would truly hope you would address this concern with the business well before 4 months later. As your other daughter stated, they both have an infection from the tools and you stated 1 daughter did, it would help us to have your doctors validation of this information so it can be addressed if any of this information is accurate.
Cindy and Jenna, Thank you for giving me the opportunity to address your concerns. I spoke with you several times on the phone, over the 3-week period, booking your pamper party and we went over everything (including cost, how many people were in your party, what services you were getting (which you had no idea), and the concern with the polish you had on your toes). It wasn’t until Tuesday, the week of your party, before you were able to “estimate” how many people were getting services within your group; then called at 9:30 am (the day of your party) to cancel some of the appointments for your 10 am pamper party. You were on time for your schedule appointment but the rest of your group was a half hour late and we worked with this situation. During your pamper party I spoke to a few of your girls as they were tanning, buying product, and speaking to me about products outside of our service industry. Everyone was having a good time until it came to paying for the services. At this point this is where my professionalism turned into defense (not rudeness) as your group of seven thought it was appropriate to all attack at once in front of other clients over $10. I am not sure if this is appropriate behavior where you are from, but it isn’t here in Northern Michigan.
